In October, the production of industrial coal and crude oil above the designated size was stable, while the production of natural gas and electricity slowed down.
 
First, raw coal production has grown steadily, and coal import growth has slowed down.
 
In October, the output of raw coal was 320 million tons, an increase of 4.4% year-on-year, and the growth rate was the same as last month; the average daily output was 10.48 million tons, a decrease of 320,000 tons from the previous month. From January to October, the output of raw coal was 3.06 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%.
 
In October, coal imports were 25.685 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 11.3%, a decrease of 9.3 percentage points from the previous month; from January to October, coal imports were 280 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.6%.
 
Coal prices fell slightly. On November 1, the comprehensive transaction prices of 5500 kcal, 5000 kcal and 4500 kcal coal at Qinhuangdao Port were 565 yuan, 505 yuan, and 453 yuan per ton, respectively, which were 5 yuan, 4 yuan, and 3 yuan lower than the end of September.
 
Twenty-two, stable production of crude oil and accelerated import
 
In October, crude oil production was 16.11 million tons, and the output was basically the same as that of the same period last year; the average daily output was 52 million tons, a decrease of 0.1 tons from the previous month. From January to October, crude oil production was 158.25 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.1%.
 
In October, crude oil imports were 45.51 million tons, an increase of 17.1% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 6.3 percentage points faster than the previous month. From January to October, crude oil imports were 41.454 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.5%.
 
In October, international crude oil prices fluctuated and fell. On October 31, the spot FOB spot price of Brent crude oil was US $ 59.3 / barrel, a decrease of US $ 1.69 from September 30.
 
Thirty-three, crude oil processing maintained rapid growth
 
In October, processed crude oil was 57.84 million tons, an increase of 9.2% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 0.2 percentage points slower than the previous month. The average daily processing of 1.866 million tons was a decrease of 17,000 tons. From January to October, processed crude oil was 537.1 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%.
 
24. Natural gas production slows down and imports decline
 
In October, natural gas production was 14.6 billion cubic meters, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 2.4 percentage points slower than last month. The average daily output was 470 million cubic meters, an increase of 20 million cubic meters. From January to October, natural gas production was 142.3 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%.
 
In October, natural gas imports were 6.52 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.6%. The growth rate changed from positive to negative, and rose by 8.0% last month. From January to October, natural gas imports were 77.71 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%.
 
V. Electricity production has slowed slightly
 
In October, the power generation was 571.4 billion kWh, an increase of 4.0% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 0.7 percentage points lower than the previous month. The average daily power generation was 18.43 billion kWh, which was a decrease of 1.26 billion kWh. From January to October, power generation was 5.9 trillion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%.
 
In terms of different types, the growth rate of thermal power production slowed slightly in October, the decline in hydropower expanded, nuclear power and solar power fell, and wind power turned from negative to positive. Among them, thermal power increased by 5.9% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 0.1 percentage point slower than that of the previous month; hydropower decreased by 4.1% and the decline increased by 3.0 percentage points; nuclear power and solar power generation increased by 5.4% and 3.0%, respectively, down by 12.5 and 16.4 percentage points; Wind power increased by 10.0% and decreased by 7.9% last month.
